Electronic music producer, remixer and one-man band JUNKIE XL (a.k.a. TomHolkenborg), is partnering up with Artwerk, Electronic Arts’ label inconjunction with Nettwerk Music, to release his fifth proper studio album,“Booming Back At You” on March 11, 2008. The album delivers Junkie XL’snewest, deliciously invigorating, electronica tracks with guest vocalappearances by Divine Heresy’s Tommy Vext, Rocket front-woman LaurenRocket, and Electrocute vocalist Nicole Morier. Junkie XL creations havebeen revealed on dance floors, in commercials, movies and video games. His interpretation of Elvis Presley’s “A Little Less Conversation” wasused on a 2002 Nike World Cup Commercial. He has contributed music tovideo games such as “The Sims 2: Nightlife,” Xbox games “Forza Motorsport”and “Quantum Redshift,” and the Wii’s snowboarding game “SSX Blur”. Thealbum’s first single, “More” will be featured in the new EA “Need ForSpeed Pro Street” game set to release this winter. His live performancecan also be heard at the upcoming popular music festivals South BySouthwest (SXSW), March 14 in Austin, TX and Coachella, April 24 in Indio,CA.
